The event is not currently available for consultation.
Consultation on Draft Submission: Site Allocations Development Plan Document closed on Monday 12 March 2012.
Various supporting documents are also available, including Questions and Answers Document, an MS Word version of the 'Response Form' and a Response Form Guidance Note. These are available under the
'Supporting Documents' tab below.
You can access the full document by clicking on the long
blue rectangle below - 'Read document and comment on document'. You can then add comments against a
section or policy. Please note, it is not necessary to comment against all sections/policies unless you
wish to.
The Site Allocations Development Plan Document (SADPD) will allocate sites to accommodate growth in Bracknell Forest during the period up to 2026. Whilst the main driver of the SADPD is housing, it also considers sites for supporting infrastructure, employment and retail uses amongst other issues.
At this stage comments are sought on whether the SADPD is legally compliant or sound. To be sound the document must pass the following tests:
- Has the Council followed the correct procedures in preparing the SADPD?
- Is it based on a good evidence base?
- Is it the most appropriate approach?
- Can it be delivered?
- Can it take account of changing circumstances (is it flexible)? and
- Can it be monitored?
These issues will be looked at when the document is examined by a Planning Inspector.
Comments should therefore explain in what way(s) the SADPD is considered to be unsound and what change(s) would need to be made to make it sound. Further information on soundness can be found in the Response Form Guidance Note below or by clicking here. If you would rather email or post your comments to the Council please download the Response Form by clicking here.
The consultation on the Council's Draft Submission follows consultation on the SADPD Preferred Option Document which ran from Friday 8th November 2010 to Monday 17th January 2011. You can view the Council's response to the comments that were received on the Preferred Option by clicking here.
